Scrappy Quilt

A client brought me this beautiful scrappy quilt. For the whole 2 days I was working on it, I didn't realize the awesome pattern she had done, until I stepped back to take this photo:
Isn't it beautiful?! It is so cool how she used so many different fabrics, and how well they all go together.

She wanted leaves and flowers, so I did a big floral motif in the blocks, and leaves in the sashing.

In the outer border I did a leaf alternating with a flower. I used a variegated thread called Butter Toffee, which goes from a natural color to a dark brown. It looked really pretty.
