My client, "Joy", brought this to me. It is a shop sample she did for Gracie Lou's.
In the blocks I did 5 different flowers.
In the borderd I did a vine with flowers and leaves and cherries, similar in style to the pattern in the border fabric.
I used a red colored thread. At first I was afraid that it would overpower the beautiful backing fabric, but after I got it done it blended in quite nicely, complementing the backing fabric beautifully.
