Garden Quilt

A client of mine brought me this fun quilt with purple poppies. She wanted it to look like it was in a garden, so she wanted lots of bugs and leaves, etc.

On each of the poppies I quilted details on the petals. I also quilted in the yellow centers.

In the background of the quilt I quilted flowers, leaves, grass and lots of bugs (bees, butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, etc.).

On the stems and leaves of the flowers I quilted the veins in the leaves.

I used a TON of colors of thread on this! (Chambray, power purple, Signature Bright Kelly, canary, grass green, light strawberry, wine plum, dark chestnut, Nassau blue, and a few others I can't remember!)
