Cars Patchwork

This is such a cute quilt! The client wanted something cute for her little boy quilted on it, including some road signs and a road around the border.

She had taken the time to fussy-cut the characters so they were centered in the blocks. I stitched around them and did road signs in the 4 patch blocks.

Here is a better picture of some of the signs I did. I free-hand quilted No Parking, Stop, Yield, Railroad, Do Not Enter, Intersection, Merge, and Route 66. I used an eggshell colored thread.
