This cute Christmas quilt is quite similar to this Halloween witch quilt, only instead of pointy witch shoes, there are fun elf shoes! This was for one of the ladies who work up at Gracie Lou's. I love the fabrics she used! She backed it with red minkee (I love minkee backed quilts).
On the blocks I used a red thread, and did a looping border, and then outlined the applique.
In the border I used a white thread and did a snowflake/loop pattern.
It turned out really cute. I was really tempted to make one of these for myself, except that Christmas is almost here, and I don't have a wall to hang it on! Maybe next year, eh?
