Fall Table Toppers

I've taken in quite a few of these simple and cute table toppers lately. They are so cute and so quick and easy to make.

On this one I did an all-over pattern, mimicking the flowers from the fabrics, and adding in leaves and loops.

I used a wheat colored thread.

Buggy Barn Pumpkins

These pumpkins were so much fun to quilt! I love Buggy Barn. I am not yet confident enough to make a Buggy Barn quilt though, so I just admire the work my clients bring me.

I outlined the eyes, noses, and mouths of the pumpkins. I added some directional lines on the pumpkins and a little bit of detail in the stems of the pumpkins. I used a whole wheat colored thread. In the background pieces behind the pumpkins I quilted mist-like lines, using Wine Plum colored thread.
The borders are swirls in the wine plum thread. In the candy corn pieces I quilted 1/4 inch from the seams in a whole wheat color. In the purple triangle background pieces I used wine plum and quilted 1/4 inch from the seam line.

Autumn Harvest

I can't remember the exact name of this quilt, but I'm pretty sure it's something like Autumn Harvest, or something close.

In the center of the quilt I quilted whole and/or partial feathered wreaths.

In the inner border I quilted a partial feather. In the outer border I did the alternating partial feathered wreath.

I used a whole wheat colored thread.

Cross Ties Quilt

This quilt is from a client of mine. She always does beautiful quilts.

I intertwined several large feathers across the center of the quilt.

In the border I did the alternating partial feathered wreath.

I used a whole wheat colored thread.

Marshy's Cars Quilt

I FINALLY finished quilting Marshy's Cars quilt! It's only taken me about a two and a half years to get around to putting his quilt on. Marshy is my 3 year old and he LOVES Cars.

I stitched in the ditch around the tires.

I stitched around the major features of Lightning McQueen and Mater.

In the border I quilted flames.
The following photos are from the back side of the quilt. I used a solid black (from Walmart....this was made before I knew about the difference between good fabric and Walmart fabric. Trust me, there is a BIG difference in quality.)

above: the McQueen and Cars logo details.
below: Mater's details.

The flames from the border.

I used black colored thread for the whole quilt.

Christmas Wallhanging

A client of mine brought me this cute, fun and funky wallhanging.

I quilted loops and snowflakes across the quilt.

I used an eggshell colored thread.

Flowers and Butterflies

This darling baby quilt had a large appliqued flower on it. I did a large meander on the whole quilt.

Around each layer of the flower I quilted in the ditch. I used eggshell colored thread.
